ZYLINDERERSATZTEIL MOPED

We recommend A-pistons for new cylinders or with a new Nicasil coating.
We recommend B-pistons for all cylinders that have already been used.
B-piston is marginally larger than an A-piston to avoid any compensate for wear.
C-piston is marginally larger than a B-piston etc.

If you assembling the piston:

Always replace old seals with new ones !
Mount the piston with the arrow pointing towards the outlet.
Carefully place the sealing rings of the piston pin with the sealing opening facing down.
Mount the piston rings on the piston. Note that some pistons have keystone piston rings. These are conical and can quickly be placed incorrectly.
Check that the piston rings are correctly positioned in the groove and close completely. Lubricate all parts with engine oil.
